Questions to ask the interviewer that leave a good impression.

Say the job and the stage of the interview. You get a set of questions to ask that show you are serious, help you decide whether you want the job, and suit that stage.

How it works

  1. Enter the job and the company, if you know it.
  2. Choose the stage of the interview.
  3. Add anything you want to learn about.
  4. Pick three to five questions to bring with you.

Questions people ask

How many questions should I ask?

Two to four, depending on time. Have a few more ready in case some get answered during the interview.

Should I ask about pay?

Ask when it comes up, or at the end of a first screening with a recruiter. With a hiring manager, wait unless they bring it up.

What should I avoid asking?

Anything you could find on their website, and questions only about holidays or leaving early.
