Is this job offer real or a scam?
Paste the posting or the message you received and say where you found it. You get a plain verdict, the warning signs found in the text, the good signs, and what to do next. It cannot be certain, so it tells you what raises or lowers the risk.
How it works
- Paste the whole posting, email or message.
- Say where it came from and whether anyone has asked you for money, equipment, a cheque or your ID.
- The checker looks for the signs scammers use: payments, chat-only hiring, unrealistic pay, vague duties, free email addresses and urgency.
- You get a verdict and clear next steps. If in doubt, do not send money or documents.
Questions people ask
Can this tell me for sure that a job is fake?
No. It reads the text and tells you what raises or lowers the risk. Always check the company on its own website, and never pay to get a job.
What are the clearest signs of a job scam?
Being asked to pay for training or equipment, to cash a cheque and send money back, or to send ID or bank details before a real interview. Real employers do none of these.
What should I do if I already sent money or documents?
Contact your bank straight away, report it to your country's fraud service, and change passwords if you shared any. Do not send anything more.
