1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We also use your browser's local and session storage, which works in a similar way. Both stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.

2. Cookies the service needs

These are always on, because Break-In Bad cannot work without them. They are not used for advertising.

  • Session cookie (__Host-breakinbad_session): keeps you signed in. Without "remember me" it ends when you close the browser, after 4 hours without activity, and in any case after 24 hours. With "remember me" it lasts up to 30 days. It is secure and HttpOnly.
  • Sign-in check (Google): a short-lived cookie, valid for a few minutes, that protects the sign-in from being forged. It is deleted as soon as you are signed in.
  • Referral cookie (breakinbad_ref): set when you open someone's referral link, so the friend who invited you gets credit if you sign up. Lasts up to one year and holds only the referral code.
  • Your cookie choice: saved in your browser's local storage, so we do not ask you again on every visit.
  • Preferences: things like your last tab or an unsent draft, kept in your browser only.

3. Cookies that need your OK

If you choose Accept all, we may also use cookies that tell us how many people visit, which pages they read, and whether our advertising led them to sign up. They help us decide what to improve and where to advertise. We do not set them, and do not load any analytics or advertising script, until you accept.

We do not sell your personal data, and these cookies never include your resume, your messages or the details of your applications.

4. Your choice

You can change it at any time here.

You have not chosen yet.

Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies. If you delete the session cookie you will have to sign in again.
