Questions people ask
How do you turn an hourly wage into a yearly salary?
Multiply the hourly rate by the hours you work each week and by the weeks you work a year. For example 20 an hour at 40 hours for 52 weeks is 41,600 a year.
Why does the calculator ask about unpaid weeks?
If you take weeks off without pay, they reduce your yearly total. Set the weeks you are paid for.
Is the take-home figure exact?
No. It applies the tax rate you enter to your gross pay. Real tax depends on your country, allowances and deductions.
